Visiting this website
This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites, with Cloudflare providing delivery and security infrastructure. When you visit, the hosting infrastructure processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and request times to deliver the website and help protect it against abuse.
The basis for providing and securing the website is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Fonts and images are served with the website. We have added no advertising or analytics scripts, contact forms or visitor accounts.
Hosting providers apply their own retention and security policies to infrastructure records. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for their processing and retention information.
SoundCloud players
Embedded music players are optional and remain unloaded until you select “Load player”. Loading a player connects your browser to SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Karl-Marx-Strasse 101, 12043 Berlin, Germany. SoundCloud receives your IP address and browser/request information and may use cookies or similar technologies, including for usage measurement. If you are signed in to SoundCloud, activity may be associated with your account.
By selecting “Load player” after the notice, you consent to loading that player and the associated transfer of data (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw this choice for future requests by selecting “Close player” or reloading the page. This does not affect processing that already occurred or delete SoundCloud cookies; these can be managed in your browser.
You may instead use the direct SoundCloud links. SoundCloud determines its own processing and retention, including any international transfers. Read its privacy policy and cookie policy.
Booking emails
Booking links open a draft in your email application. No message is sent until you send it. When you email us, we process your email address, name and any event or contact details you provide to respond and arrange bookings. Gmail handles the receiving mailbox.
Booking-related processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other correspondence is based on our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f). Correspondence is retained while needed to handle the inquiry or booking, and longer where legal recordkeeping duties or legal claims require it. Providing information is voluntary, but we need enough contact and event information to respond.
See Google’s privacy policy for its email-service processing.
International processing
Our service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices describe applicable destinations and safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. We do not control SoundCloud’s own processing after a player or external link is opened.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for future processing. Email kiitsch.music@gmail.com to exercise your rights. We do not make automated decisions about you.
You may also complain to a supervisory authority, including the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
